The pattern for this two-piece suit was crafted with classic flat patterning techniques. The look is inspired by the iconic Chanel Tweed Suit. The challenge was to research an influential designer of my choice and study their most emblematic designs and replicate my own modernized version of it.

This look is inspired by the layering, jumper trend from the 60's and 70's that is prominent once again in today's trends for young women, particularly for the summer and fall seasons. To achieve the groovy and retro aesthetic, I hand picked the perfect striped corduroy with faded, warm hues paired with a cotton ribbed knit and ring zipper details.
