THE SHIRT BLAZER

Constructed like a shirt, Designed like a jacket.

We all know that climate change is a pressing modern issue. The requirement of men having to wear a jacket to work is declining in most industries, however, many careers still have this requirement to maintain professionalism (lawyers, bankers, etc.). Most suit jackets are constructed of wool and thick, non-breathable materials and are fully lined. My task is to design a jacket that is work appropriate and functional and can be worn easily in hot climates. The jacket itself is made of lightweight 100% linen and is lined with a stretch mesh with sweat wicking capabilities, 88% polyester and 12% spandex.

In addition to the jacket, I designed and constructed the corresponding dress shirt and shorts as well.
